Polish fund requests permission to acquire "Sunflower Investments" and part of the union "Sunflower"

The Competition Council announced that it has received a request from “Enterprise Investors Fund IX” to acquire 100% of the shares of “Saulėgrąžos investicijos” and indirectly, through the latter company, 81.52% of the shares of “Saulėgrąža” – thereby gaining sole control over them.

As BNS wrote, the fund is buying up to 81.51% of “Saulėgrąža” shares by paying up to 21.8 million euros, and the capital will help “Saulėgrąža” to restructure into a licensed bank serving small and medium-sized enterprises in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland, with the ambition to expand throughout the Central and Eastern European region.
