“The suicide bomber tried to enter the police station located at the intersection, but the police stopped him at the main gates,” said F. Hussain.
The attack took place in the northern border Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, where officials are fighting a growing insurgency by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
