From January to July, the airport handled 36,800 flights – 2% more than the previous year, and the volume of air cargo handled increased by 52% to 16,600 tons.
In July alone, compared to the same month last year, passenger traffic at Riga Airport grew by 2%, the number of flights increased by 6%, and the volume of air cargo handled rose by 2,200 tons, or nearly a third.
