This observation was shared by O. Gasanovas on his Facebook account. The journalist recounted noticing a “Mercedes-Benz” car providing private transportation services from Vilnius Airport to Minsk near Vilnius Airport.
He agreed to share the post with the readers of the Žmonės.lt portal as well.
“Mercedes to Minsk. A new (or at least previously unseen by me) service near Vilnius Airport. Waiting for taxis to Minsk. There used to be only buses, and as demand grew, special taxis appeared,” wrote O. Gasanovas.

“So maybe it only takes you to the border?” wondered one commenter.
“I wonder what the price is? A luxurious ride,” noted another social media user.

“Maybe it was booked in advance,” shared another internet user.
To the delfi.lt portal, Rūta Asadauskaitė, Head of Communications at Lithuanian Airports, stated that the route to Minsk is not coordinated with Lithuanian Airports and is not included in the agreed service tariffs of this taxi service provider.
“Upon receiving information about this case, we immediately contacted the service provider, instructing them to remove the uncoordinated route marking, comply with the contract requirements, and ensure that such violations do not recur in the future,” commented Rūta Asadauskaitė to the mentioned portal.
