Very strong winds will also create dangerous conditions. As the central part of a small cyclone moves across the country, the wind direction will change – in the morning it will mostly blow from the southeast and south, later shifting to the west and northwest. Gusts will reach 18–23 m/s, in some parts of Lithuania strengthening to 24–27 m/s, with occasional short bursts up to 28–30 m/s.

The temperature across the country will be contrasting – in the wetter and cloudier western half it will be between 15–20 degrees, while in the east, where there will be less rain and some clear spells, the air will warm up to 21–26 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday night, the cyclone will gradually move north. The heaviest rain will already retreat, with brief and mostly light showers in the western and northern parts of the country. The westerly winds will gradually calm, but gusts of 15–20 m/s are still expected in many regions, mostly in the north of the country. Temperatures will drop to 9–14 degrees, and 15–17 degrees along the coast.

On Sunday during the day, we will remain in the southwestern part of the cyclone. The sky will be mostly variably cloudy, with short showers passing through many places around midday. Some of these will be accompanied by thunder. Gusts of southwest and west winds will only intensify to 15–20 m/s in some places. The highest temperature across the country will range between 17–22 degrees.

At the beginning of the new week, we will still feel the influence of the cyclone. On Monday night, the clouds will clear somewhat more, but short rain is still expected in some places. The wind will calm further, with no dangerous gusts expected. Temperatures will drop to 8–13 degrees, and 14–16 degrees along the coast.

On Monday during the day, the number of cumulus clouds in the sky will increase, with short showers passing through many places again, some with thunder. The wind will shift to northwest, be moderate, but without dangerous gusts. The temperature will not be high – the air will warm up to 16–21 degrees Celsius around midday.
