On Wednesday, it became clear which day is most favorable for refueling

In Lithuania on Wednesday morning, compared to Tuesday, the average prices of gasoline, diesel, and LPG decreased by 1.64%, 1.39%, and 1.17% respectively. Fuel prices at gas stations in our country usually increase on Tuesdays and are consistently reduced on other days until the weekend. Retail prices are also influenced by fluctuations in wholesale fuel prices and oil prices.

Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 19 by 66 fuel trading companies operating 708 gas stations.

It is also important on which days gas stations apply discounts.

Fuel prices on Wednesday

Data on fuel prices obtained from gas stations by 10 a.m. on August 19 show that the lowest diesel price was at nine “Alauša” network gas stations, eight “Baltic Petroleum” network gas stations, and the “Degta” network gas station in Anykščiai – 1.939 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at forty “Viada” network gas stations, eleven “Circle K” network gas stations, the “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai municipality (Vievis), the “Šventosios investicijos” gas station in Palanga (Šventoji), and the “Tomega” gas station in Šalčininkai district municipality (Dumblių village) – 2.159 Eur/l.

Diesel prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 1.939 Eur/l to 2.159 Eur/l, with the average diesel price being 2.061 Eur/l, or 1.39% less than on Tuesday (August 18), when it was 2.090 Eur/l.

The lowest gasoline price on Wednesday morning was at the “Autograndas” gas station in Visaginas – 1.668 Eur/l.

The highest gasoline price was at forty-one “Viada” network gas stations, eleven “Circle K” network gas stations, and two “Boost Petrol” network gas stations – 1.899 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 1.668 Eur/l to 1.899 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price being 1.796 Eur/l, or 1.64% less than on Tuesday (August 18), when it was 1.826 Eur/l.

The lowest LPG price on Wednesday morning was at four UAB “Madalva” gas stations – 0.660 Eur/l.

The highest LPG price was at the UAB “Tumasa” gas station in Mažeikiai district municipality (Židikiai) – 0.940 Eur/l.

LPG prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 0.660 Eur/l to 0.940 Eur/l, with the average LPG price being 0.762 Eur/l, or 1.17% less than on Tuesday (August 18), when it was 0.771 Eur/l.

The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on August 18 was 1.62 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.95 Eur/l (on August 17, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.64 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.94 Eur/l).

The Brent oil price on the market on August 18 was 91.02 USD/bbl (on August 17 – 90.87 USD/bbl).
