Officials: 7 people killed in southern Lebanon in Israeli strikes

In one strike near Jabal Amel Hospital, four people were killed, seven were injured, and the building was slightly damaged, while in another strike elsewhere in the city, three people were killed and five were injured, including two children.

On Wednesday, the Lebanese and Israeli governments agreed on a ceasefire plan in Israel’s war with Hezbollah, which the group rejected.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that five people were killed in an Israeli strike in Eastern Lebanon, and three more were killed in another attack near Tyre.

Eight people were also injured in these strikes, including three children and two women.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that more than 40 locations in southern and eastern Lebanon were hit on Thursday.

The Israeli army, for its part, reported on Thursday that one of its soldiers was killed in battle in Southern Lebanon, and a military official told AFP that the soldier was killed by a Hezbollah missile.
