“Salaries constitute the main and largest expenses of children’s day centers. If the minimum wage increases, the expenses of children’s day centers immediately rise as well. The activity remained the same, the services have not decreased, they have not changed, but due to decisions made by the state, expenses have increased,” said Aistė Adomavičienė, director of the National Network of Poverty Reduction Organizations, in a statement released on Thursday.
