On Friday at the Pärnu track, there will be practice sessions, qualifying at 17:10, and on Saturday – two sprint races (at 11:10 and 16:10). The races can be watched live on the “Mitjet Baltics” YouTube channel.

Tests before the races: new participants will join the series
According to the racer and founder of the “Mitjet Baltics” series Povilas Jankavičius, it is already clear that the championship will grow next year. Because before each race, pilots who have previously competed in GT4 or TCR categories come to test the “Mitjet 2L” cars.
“Racers are attracted by the relatively low costs of ‘Mitjet Baltics’ and the car’s capabilities, as well as the intense competition in the mono class,” says P. Jankavičius.
At the Pärnu track before the official races, two young karting champions from Estonia and one former karting pilot from Denmark tested the “Mitjet” cars. Also participating in the tests was Jesper Brunhøj Jensen, founder and owner of the Danish “JBJ Racing” team, who will also compete in the main races.
Two Lithuanians also came to the tests in Estonia, wanting to try their strength in the “Mitjet Baltics” series.
“These were the most intensive tests: two Estonians, two Danes, two Lithuanians. And current championship participants – Egidijus Gutaravičius, Rokas Kvedaras, Vilius Reškevičius, Petras Degtiarenka,” P. Jankavičius is pleased with the growing attention to this racing series.
Father and son duel and intrigue until the last race
It is clear that the winners in both individual and team standings (each team has two pilots) will be decided only after the last, second race on Saturday. Because as many as 4 pilots and 5 teams have theoretical chances to win. Martynas Tankevčius will not be able to start in Estonia, as he has gone to the karting “Rotax” competition in Riga, which he organizes himself.

The intrigue is increased by the fact that young rally talent Aras, son of Roko Kvedaras, is joining Egidijus Gutaravičius’s team “Kado Auto – EG/PX”. He has considerable experience on the track, so his debut in “Mitjet Baltics” will be very interesting. Especially since father and son will be scoring points for different teams.
