As informed by BNS, the most affected were the legume crops, grain crops that could not be harvested in time, fodder crops for livestock, as well as various vegetable crops. Losses were also incurred due to the sowing of winter crops.

Minister’s advisor Justas Jaskonis told BNS on Friday that data from some municipalities is still awaited, so the total extent of the damage has not been calculated.
