Alfredas Skinulis, the head of “Meles,” told the portal that the project’s goal is to establish an industrial zone and that an environmental impact assessment (EIA) is currently being conducted, but he did not disclose the investments or what kinds of businesses might rent the buildings. According to him, the aim is to attract businesses focused on innovative technologies and using circular economy principles.

According to the portal, buildings of approximately 1,900 square meters are being designed on a 2.8-hectare plot owned by the company, and up to 100 people could work in the entire complex.
