A. Simutė has been working at Maxima for almost eight years, and for the past three years she has been leading the Retail Department. Previously, she worked at Apranga Group, clothing and footwear chains Pietro Filipi, NS King, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Jolanta Bivainytė, Kristupas Buzys, and Vilius Rimkus will also serve on the Maxima LT board until September 2029.

The Maxima group operates a retail network and online grocery stores Barbora in the Baltic countries.
Maxima LT earned 213 million euros in profit before taxes, interest, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) last year – 4.5% more than the year before. Meanwhile, net profit grew by 23.2% to 152.7 million euros, and revenue increased by 5.4% to 2.33 billion euros.
