A 7-season contract was signed with the 19-year-old footballer – until the summer of 2033.
According to the famous football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the royal Real club finally agreed with Leipzig on a buyout worth 125 million euros, which can increase by an additional 15 million.
It is worth noting that Y. Diomande joined the Leipzig team just a season ago. The German club then paid five times less – 20 million euros to Leganes’ eleven.
Leganes will also be happy with Y. Diomande’s move to Madrid, as the agreement with Leipzig included a 10% clause for a future deal (in this case – 12.5 million euros).
It was announced this summer that the footballer’s signature was desired by Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, and London Arsenal.

Y. Diomande himself moved to the USA at the age of 15 – to DME Academy in Florida. In 2023, he participated in a trial at Glasgow Rangers but did not convince the Scots.
In October 2024, the mentioned Leganes team in Spain gave him a chance, where Y. Diomande played only 10 matches and scored 2 goals in the main team to convince Leipzig to come to Germany.
