Acting Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė also expressed condolences on the senator’s death.
„Senator Lindsey Graham was a loyal friend of Lithuania, a strong supporter of transatlantic unity, and a determined supporter of Ukraine. His dedication to our shared values and security will always be remembered,“ the condolence message stated.
As BNS reported, Lindsey Graham died on Saturday evening at the age of 71 after a short and sudden illness.

Having served in the Senate since 2003, Lindsey Graham was a close political ally of President Donald Trump.
The South Carolina legislator chaired the Senate Budget Committee and would have sought a fifth six-year term in the Senate in November.
He was one of the most well-known members of the upper chamber of Congress and an important voice of the Republican Party on defense and international affairs issues.
Lindsey Graham was also a strong supporter of Israel.
