From May 25 to 31, the average wholesale price in the Lithuanian price zone of the Nord Pool exchange decreased by 24% to 69 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh). In Latvia, the price was the same, while in Estonia it was 37 euros.

Deividas Šikšnys, head of the Market Development Department at Litgrid, says that local production grew by more than a third during the week, and Lithuania produced 111% of the country’s demand.
