Adjusted net profit of the company reached 20.2 million euros – 40% more than last year (14.4 million euros), and its revenues grew by 28% to 267.5 million euros (209 million euros), Litgrid reported on Friday.

“Adjusted EBITDA was mainly driven by higher compensable capital costs due to a higher regulated asset value,” the statement said.
According to Litgrid, its adjusted net profit increased mainly due to the benefit of a 5.2 million euro investment relief accounted for in the first half of the year for current year profit tax and higher adjusted EBITDA.
Meanwhile, unadjusted EBITDA amounted to 52.5 million euros, while in January–June 2025 it was negative (a loss of 40.3 million euros). Unadjusted net profit in the first half of the year was 39 million euros (a net loss of 41.9 million euros a year ago).
In the first half of the year, with 6% more electricity transmitted by the operator and transmission prices rising by 23%, Litgrid received 21% more revenue for electricity transmission – 79.9 million euros. Revenues from additional services decreased by 2% to 88.3 million euros, while imbalance and balancing revenues doubled to 97.2 million euros – mainly due to a higher average selling price.

Revenues also included congestion management inflows used to reduce tariffs – 15.9 million euros in the first half of this year and 17.2 million euros at the same time last year.
The company’s congestion management inflows reached 50.8 million euros.
In the first half of the year, Litgrid invested 61 million euros – 17% less than at the same time last year. The company reduced net debt by 19% to 24.4 million euros.
97.5% of Litgrid shares belong to the state-owned energy companies group Epso-G.
