On Sunday, on the Klaipėda–Liepaja road, right at the Lithuanian state border near the Būtingė settlement (Palanga municipality), officers of the Palanga border guard post of the VSAT Coastal Border Guard Unit stopped a car “Opel Astra” entering from Latvia for inspection.

The Opel with Latvian state registration plates, marked with the logo of a well-known ride-sharing service platform, was driven by a 51-year-old Latvian citizen.
