A. Norbutas, who is also an active supporter of Ukraine, has been selling his wooden crafts at fairs across Lithuania for three decades, and he says he has only encountered the indignation of some Russian-speaking buyers so far.
However, this Friday at the folklore festival in Druskininkai, he says he received a warning from a Culture Center employee.
“On Friday around noon, a Culture Center employee from Druskininkai, Lina Balčiūnienė, came to my trading place with a girl who was organizing the fair and said that I am included (or will be included, I don’t remember exactly) in the blacklist and will no longer be allowed at fairs in Druskininkai because I ask such questions to the guests of Druskininkai,” the folk artist wrote on Facebook.

He told 15min that he received a verbal warning and, wanting to clarify the situation, has already contacted the municipality in writing.
