G.Krivas is the brother of another former young Žalgiris player Motiejus Krivas, who currently plays for the NCAA Arizona Wildcats team.

Until now, G.Krivas has been developing in the Šiauliai basketball academy team, with which he played in the “Nostra.lt-RKL” championship B division. In the 2025–2026 season, the young talent managed to debut in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL), where he appeared on the court twice but did not score any points.
At the end of May this year, G.Krivas also represented the “Žalgiris U18” team in the final stage of the Euroleague “NextGen” youth tournament. Over three games, the tall player averaged 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds.
This summer, G.Krivas also debuted in the Lithuanian youth national team, with which he participated in the European U18 championship and finished in 11th place.

Last week, another young talent – Benas Baranauskas – joined the “Žalgiris” youth system. A long-term contract was also signed with the 16-year-old who developed last season in Germany.
B.Baranauskas made it to the Lithuanian U17 youth national team candidates this summer, and last season he became the Berlin U20 champion, the Northern Germany U20 champion, and won a gold medal in the German U19 championship.
