“Something that doesn’t happen often in Lithuanian youth basketball. The concentration of resources, knowledge, and energy has given a breakthrough and a significant result in girls’ basketball! Thanks to the coaches, process administrators, and, of course, the girls themselves!” – wrote M. Balčiūnas.
The post received a reaction from E. Skersis:
“Mindaugas, I don’t want to be the one who criticizes here, etc., but what are you talking about regarding the growth of women’s or girls’ basketball, etc. Last year I personally lent 400 euros (a ridiculous amount) to the Panevėžys women’s team because the manager said that (sorry youth for the swear word) it’s a pz**. If Karolis Ugintas returns it, okay, if not, at least I will have contributed to women’s basketball. So don’t talk nonsense about how everything is okay, how everything is growing, etc. Open your eyes and start speaking the truth, not living in some illusions about how everything is great with us.”
M. Balčiūnas tried to calm the “Juventus” manager’s passions but stepped on another sore spot, and E. Skersis did not stay silent.

“Eimantas, thank you for the comment. Let’s rejoice in the upcoming visit of the University of Michigan to Utena, which also doesn’t happen often. And we can discuss work matters not virtually,” replied M. Balčiūnas, to which E. Skersis then retorted:
“Mindaugas, what is there to rejoice about? You are basically pissing off all the residents of the Aukštaitija region because the Lithuanian national team is playing. I tried to calm at least 50 people (not exaggerating) about how they won’t see our stars. What kind of crap are you talking about?”
We remind you that the Lithuanian national team and the University of Michigan team will meet in a friendly match in Utena on August 24.
