“The public has the right to expect clear answers. However, they can only be provided after the investigation conducted according to the established procedure is completed. Although the author is primarily responsible for academic integrity in the scientific work, it is the university’s duty to ensure that all arising academic ethics issues are impartially evaluated in accordance with the established procedures,” said ISM University Rector Dalius Misiūnas in the statement.
