“The VTPSI position remains unchanged – the court decision must be executed, and the illegally constructed building must be demolished. Until now, we have sought legal solutions that would allow this to be done effectively and, if possible, without using state budget funds. Having assessed the changed legal circumstances and the observations submitted by the prosecutor’s office, we will review the chosen implementation model and make decisions on specific further actions so that the building is demolished in the shortest possible time and as economically as possible,” said Albertas Stanislovaitis, head of the State Territorial Planning and Construction Inspectorate (VTPSI), in a statement.

VTPSI representative Viktorija Šinkūnienė told BNS that on Monday it is planned to discuss the prosecutor’s comments with Vilnius municipality and the insolvency administrator Šatrija office. In addition, the inspectorate will not appeal the prosecutor’s warning to the court.
