The reasons for the evacuation announcement at “Akropolis” are still unclear.
At about 13:46, the portal was informed that visitors were allowed back into the shopping and leisure center.
“A short evacuation, a false alarm,” the reader wrote.
It turns out that the emergency button was pressed by mistake at “Akropolis”.
“On Tuesday, at about 13:35, the fire alarm at Kaunas “Akropolis” was triggered by mistakenly pressing the emergency alarm button. After assessing the situation, the building evacuation was canceled, and the shopping center continues to operate as usual,” informed Brigita Kuodytė, manager of Kaunas “Akropolis”, to the portal.
