According to V. Partikas, the main reason for choosing Turkey was the price. He had to pay about 7 thousand euros for his treatment, while in Lithuania, such procedures, according to him, would have cost about four times more.

“I chose Turkey primarily because of the price and the very well-developed medical tourism. A similar treatment of this scale in Lithuania would have cost me about four times more. In Turkey, I paid about 7,000 euros for all dental treatment. The price difference is due to the different economic level of the country, labor and service costs, and also because Turkey actively develops medical tourism and aims to attract patients from abroad,” he said.
The man underwent extensive dental treatment. Two implants were inserted, the back teeth were restored using zirconia crowns, and glass-ceramic crowns were chosen for the front 12 teeth area.
“I wanted not only an aesthetic result but also a quality, long-lasting solution, so the materials used and the entire treatment process were important to me,” said V. Partikas.
Although there was some nervousness about getting treatment in another country before such procedures, the man says he felt calm. This was helped by Aušra, a Lithuanian who has been working in this field for about 15 years. She accompanied V. Partikas throughout the treatment, helped communicate with the clinic staff, and explained the most important stages of the process.
“It was very important for me to have someone I could communicate with in Lithuanian, who explains the whole process, helps communicate with the clinic, and is there from start to finish,” he said.
Today, V. Partikas says he is satisfied with his choice and the result achieved. However, he emphasizes that when deciding to get treatment abroad, one should not focus solely on the lowest price.

According to him, it is important to research the clinic’s reputation, doctors, materials used, warranty conditions, and how patient care will be ensured after treatment in advance.
One of the most important advantages the man names is the 15-year warranty provided by the clinic for the work done. According to the specified conditions, if warranty treatment is needed, the clinic reimburses travel expenses up to a set amount and covers accommodation during the treatment period.
“This gave me additional confidence because in such treatment, not only the result today is important but also what will happen after several years,” said V. Partikas.
V. Partikas also pointed out that the treatment plan, which cost about 7 thousand euros, included more than just dental procedures.
The overall package included accommodation in a four-star hotel with breakfast, transfer from the airport to the hotel, and all transfers needed during the trip between the hotel and the clinic. The clinic also reimbursed flight ticket expenses up to 200 euros.
According to V. Partikas, such a service package greatly facilitated the organization of the entire trip – the patient did not have to separately worry about accommodation, transport, or other details related to the treatment.
