In the United States – investigation into the “Tesla Cybercab”

Last week, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that it will review the process and technical data that Tesla relied on to certify this two-seater vehicle.

This announcement was made a few hours after the company began commercial use of the Cybercab in Austin, Texas, following the launch event. Tesla praised what it called the vehicle’s safety and accessibility for disabled people, stating that the Cybercab “democratizes eco-friendly transportation for everyone.”
