It captures an episode filmed in spring 2020 from the then 2TV channel show “Made in Lithuania”, which was created and produced by Marija herself.
At that time, when Marija asked in the show when Jessica would start filling arenas, the artist’s answer sounded like a prophecy.
“Give me five years. <…> I will work, do everything for that. Since I chose this field, it would be strange not to dream and set bigger goals for myself,” said J.Shy in April 2020.

However, what impressed Marija the most was not Jessica’s popularity, but her simplicity and openness. She spoke about this after sharing the video.
“Today, looking back, these words sound not only prophetic – she shot even more powerfully and impressively than anyone could have predicted.
At a time when everyone was locked down by COVID-19, I was looking for singers willing to give interviews. I remember the skeptical comments flying my way: ‘Why are you talking to some no names…’ But at that time I really liked the song ‘Rose’, so I didn’t care much about others’ opinions.
And yet, what captured my heart the most was not the millions of views she gathered, but one very simple, human moment.
While filming the LNK show “Šeškinė 20”, just a few weeks after her historic and record-breaking concert at the Kaunas stadium, I approached her and suggested: “Shall we repeat our old interview?” She sighed, looked at me, and said completely honestly: “I’m tired… and just lazy.”
It was so incredibly real and sincere! Other “stars” in such a situation often put on a fake smile, say “yeah, sure!”, and later simply don’t answer the phone because they really don’t want to.
I really wish, Jessica, to keep going further, fly even higher, and most importantly, never, in any glory, lose that true, incredibly sincere little person inside you,” wrote M.Silickaja-Šmatavičienė.
