The largest this summer was the Lithuanian U16 championship, which was attended by 59 tennis players. The U12 championship had 54 competitors, U14 – 51, adults – 36, and U18 – 35 athletes.

The championship tour began in June with the U14 competition. In July, the national champions were determined in the adult competition and the U12 tournament in Vilnius. In August, the U16 and U18 championships were held.
Most prize places – to Šiauliai players
The best performers in this year’s Lithuanian championship tour were the pupils of the Šiauliai Tennis Academy. In singles and doubles competitions, they won 19 prize places, including 5 first places.
The second best result was achieved by the Vilnius Tennis Academy. Its pupils won 13 medals. Kaunas Children’s Tennis Academy and “Ąžuolyno” representatives each won 7, and the “Alatus” Tennis Academy won 6.
Pilaitė Tennis Club, L. Stančiūtė Tennis Academy, Balžekas Tennis School, and “Tennis Star” each won 5 prize places, and “Tennis Space” won 4.

Representatives of Kaunas Tennis School, “BTP Academy”, Birštonas Sports Center, and Molėtai District Sports and Culture Center also made it to the Lithuanian championship prize winners.
In total, at least one prize place in this summer’s Lithuanian championships was won by 14 of the country’s tennis academies, schools, clubs, and sports centers.
Five championships in three cities
This year’s Lithuanian tennis championship tour took place in three cities. The U12 championship in Vilnius was organized by the Vilnius Tennis Academy, the U14, U16, and adult championships in Šiauliai by the Šiauliai Tennis Academy, and the U18 championships in Kaunas by “Tennis Space”.
