As reported by the police, on Monday the Marijampolė County Chief Police Commissariat received a company statement that from 3 PM on August 14 to 7 AM on August 17, about 50 liters of diesel fuel were stolen from a “Ponsse” forest tractor, which was parked in a forest clearing by the road in Prūseliai village, Šakiai district, after the fuel filler hose was cut, the hydraulic tank was broken, the hydraulic tank cap and oil filter were stolen, wires were cut, and a light bulb was broken.

Property damage of about 500 euros was incurred.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated.
