The first place was taken by Wroclaw, where weekend expenses for two people would amount to 163 euros – about 41 euros per person per day. An analysis conducted by the payment company “Getsby” showed that about 18.75 euros would be spent on food per day, and 5.85 euros on local transport.
The analysis was based on data from the travel expense platform “Budget Your Trip” about 100 European destinations. The usual accommodation, food, and local transport expenses for two people traveling with a medium-sized budget were compared.
Flight prices were not included in the analysis because they vary greatly.
Not far behind Wroclaw was Poznan, which took second place – a weekend for two in this city would cost about 168.50 euros. Katowice took third place, where weekend expenses for two people would amount to 239 euros.
Gdansk took fourth place – it was calculated that a weekend for two here would cost 275.25 euros. Krakow completed the top five Polish cities in the ranking – weekend expenses in this city would amount to about 295 euros.

Another Polish city made it into the top ten – Warsaw took tenth place. It was calculated that one person would spend about 112 euros per day here. Sofia, Zagreb, Malmo, and Budapest were the only destinations in the top ten not located in Poland.
At the other end of the ranking was Zurich – it was the most expensive of all the destinations evaluated in the study. It was calculated that the same weekend trip for two people here would cost 1,325 euros.
