According to the consumer price index (CPI), this indicator reached 5.9 percent.
The agreed average annual inflation in July was 4.1%, and according to the CPI – 4.5%, reports the State Data Agency.
Monthly inflation – in June, compared to May – according to the HICP and CPI was 0.5 percent each.

The annual inflation calculated according to the HICP was mostly influenced by the increase in prices of heat energy, gasoline, diesel, maintenance and repair of personal vehicles, restaurants, cafes and similar public catering services, cigarettes, electricity, wood including pellets and briquettes, spirits and liqueurs, holiday trips, medicines, vaccines and other pharmaceutical preparations, plants, seeds and flowers.
Inflation was reduced by the decrease in prices of sound and video reception, recording and playback devices, meat products, offal, used cars, fresh or chilled fruit vegetables, fresh stone fruits and pome fruits, other games, toys and favorite items, and parts of personal vehicles.
