Rain washed the field, and the fired-up Lithuanian champions continued the goal shower. In the 15th minute, the same K. Pereviznyk once again disarmed the opposing goalkeeper with a precise shot and the score became 3:1.

Midway through the half, the Austrians managed to reduce the deficit and restore the overall two-match tie when Lilla Sipos, who broke away one-on-one with Alla Herasymchuk, sent the ball into the net – 3:2.

After this goal, the opponents took the initiative on the field, managing not only to equalize before halftime when Makeila Yancey accidentally sent the ball into her own net, but also to take the lead by scoring a goal during added time of the first half – 3:4.

After the break, Sturm managed to provoke a foul in the penalty area, and B. Pulins converted the penalty kick, making the score 3:5.

Gintros did not recover after conceding this goal and had to acknowledge the superiority of the opponents, who advanced to the second qualifying round.

The team will play their next match on September 9. In the A League championship, Gintros footballers will host Gargždų “Banga”.
