F. El-Dibany, who chose Juozas’s work, is a mezzo-soprano from Egypt. Born in Alexandria and having completed her music studies in Germany, the performer gained worldwide recognition after starting to collaborate with the Paris National Opera. She captivates audiences not only with a powerful, expressive voice and charisma but also with a masterful ability to combine classical traditions with modernity on stage. The soloist received special attention in 2022 when she sang the French anthem – La Marseillaise – at Emmanuel Macron’s presidential election victory celebration in Paris.
