A reader contacted the editorial office, telling about, according to him, a difficult situation faced by “Wizz Air” passengers who were supposed to fly from Kaunas to London.

According to the reader, the flight scheduled for Wednesday at 9 p.m. was postponed several times and later completely canceled. According to him, passengers had to spend the whole night in uncertainty, without clear information about what was happening and when they would be able to depart.
The reader states that a replacement flight was planned for Thursday at 6 p.m., but it was also postponed—this time until 9 p.m. However, according to him, passengers are not sure whether this flight will actually take place.
“Hundreds of passengers are still waiting at the airport. Among them are families with small children, seniors, and people with important commitments. The biggest problem is the complete lack of information. No one can clearly say when we will actually take off and what is going on.
We are forced to wait for hours at the airport, feeling like prisoners,” the letter sent reads.
According to the reader, people wait for hours at the airport without receiving precise explanations and, in their opinion, proper assistance.
Checking the Kaunas airport flight schedule, it indeed shows that the 6 p.m. flight was delayed until 9 p.m.
Due to the situation, the editorial office contacted Kaunas airport, asking for a comment on the situation. Once a response is received, the article will be updated.
