By education, he is a historian who fought for two years in the Donbas war that began in 2014 – he served in the 57th Motorized Brigade as a platoon and company commander, and completed his military service as the battalion chief of staff.
In an interview with “Postimees”, he assessed the mood of Ukrainians and openly spoke about why, in his opinion, the war will not end in the near future.
– How do the current war events here, near the Polish border, seem to you, as a person who himself fought for several years in Eastern Ukraine?
