Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Saturday morning that a 48-hour readiness, lasting until Monday morning, will ensure the troops’ preparedness to assist public administration institutions and rescue services.
According to this order, soldiers of 13 brigades in various voivodeships, including central Mazovia and Lodz as well as southern Lower Silesia voivodeships, must be ready to depart within six hours, while another seven brigades can be mobilized within 24 hours.
