“The main idea of the event from the very beginning was to bring together the gaming community and provide it with a space to meet in person. This year, we are taking another step forward – bringing professional e-sports closer to the visitors. They will be able not only to watch the battles of the Lithuanian e-sports national team representatives but also to meet them and try their skills in duels themselves. We want to create a space where gaming enthusiasts can not only share a common hobby but also feel part of a professional gaming community,” says Šarūnas Tamulis, the main organizer of “Baltics Gaming Expo.”

The popularity of the event is also reflected in the visitor flow – last year, over 111 thousand visitors were recorded during the three weeks of “GG Summer” at the Kaunas “Akropolis” event square.
“We plan events in the shopping center so that we can offer visitors as diverse experiences as possible – from art and culture to technology and active entertainment. Last year’s results showed that gaming culture interests a very broad audience, so we are continuing the successful event format this year as well. We aim for high-quality events relevant to various audiences to be free and accessible to everyone,” says Iveta Urbė, marketing project manager at Kaunas “Akropolis.”
Gaming spaces: everyone will find their favorite activity
“GG Summer” visitors will find different gaming spaces where both experienced players and those who just want to try new entertainment can find activities. In the arcade gaming area, you can recall retro gaming classics, and in racing simulators – try virtual tracks and compete with friends.
In the console area, visitors will find popular sports, adventure, and cooperative games, including “EA Sports FC 26,” “NBA 2K26,” “It Takes Two,” and others, which can be played together with friends. In the computer gaming zone, you can try “Counter-Strike,” “Fortnite,” and other games, while those who prefer more active entertainment can dance to popular music rhythms in the “Just Dance” area.

Mini stage daily, and a different program every Saturday
“GG Summer” will also feature a mini 2v2 stage throughout the three weeks of the event – here visitors can try games in a 2 versus 2 format and experience the atmosphere of e-sports competitions. On three Saturdays, a special program will take place here, highlighted by meetings with representatives of the Lithuanian e-sports national teams.
The program will focus on the games “Rocket League,” “EA Sports FC 26,” “Valorant,” and “Counter-Strike.” The meetings will start with talks where professional players will share their experiences, talk about the path to professional e-sports, and behind-the-scenes insights. After the talks, demonstration matches will take place, where national team professionals will play against each other along with visitors. The Saturday program will conclude with mini-tournaments of “EA Sports FC 26,” “Valorant,” and “Counter-Strike.”
