The group is observing rapidly growing demand for armaments – from ammunition to air defense systems and military vehicles – in Europe, which is rushing to rearm in the face of hostile Russia and concerns over US security guarantees.
It also has a smaller division serving car manufacturers, but this is performing worse as the German automotive industry faces difficulties, and the group has been planning to divest this division for some time.
