For residents of individual houses, the monthly fee will decrease from 0.68 Eur to 0.53 Eur (including VAT) starting from July 1, 2026. For residents of communities and apartment buildings whose metering devices are installed at the community inlet, the fee will decrease from 1.15 Eur to 1.06 Eur (including VAT). For residents of apartment buildings with individual metering devices, it will decrease from 0.85 Eur to 0.68 Eur (including VAT).

Also, from July, the monthly fee will change for companies: it will increase on average by 7 percent or about 0.1 Eur (including VAT), depending on the diameter of the metering device used by the company. Detailed information about the monthly fee rate according to the diameter of the metering device is provided to “Vilniaus vandenys” business clients on the company’s website and in payment notifications.

The monthly fee rate for Vilnius residents and residents of districts served by “Vilniaus vandenys” remains one of the lowest in Lithuania. According to the head of the company’s Customer Service Department, Martynas Augaitis, the company evaluates the situation and reviews the monthly fee for clients every year. This year, despite rising operating costs, “Vilniaus vandenys” managed to reduce the monthly fee rate for some clients.

“This was influenced by consistent operational efficiency improvements and one of the most significant digitization projects in recent years – the implementation of smart metering devices. We have already replaced 68 percent of water meters with smart ones. They allow for more accurate recording of water consumption and automatic data transmission to the metering system, which helps reduce operating costs, improves customer experience, and is reflected in the monthly fee. At the same time, we aim to maintain consistent investments in infrastructure renewal and modernization to ensure service reliability and even higher quality for our clients,” says M. Augaitis.

Updated monthly fee rates will reach “Vilniaus vandenys” clients together with the bills for July.
