On Wednesday and Thursday, strong winds raged across Lithuania. Meteo.lt reports that Thursday was variably cloudy, with brief rain showers in some places, accompanied by thunder and light hail in some areas. Wind gusts reached 15–20 m/s in many places. The night passed without significant rain. The lowest air temperature was 4–9, in Ventė – 11 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, there will be brief rain in some places. Wind from the west, northwest, 9–14 m/s, gusts 15–18 m/s in some places. The highest temperature 15–20, in the Curonian Spit 12–14 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists have issued warnings about dangerous strong wind gusts for the Panevėžys, Utena, and Vilnius counties. Strong winds will rage in these counties all day – until 8 p.m.
In some places, northwest wind gusts will reach 15-17 m/s.

Recommendations: Remove items from balconies and yards that can be lifted by the wind, or secure them well. If you must go outside, dress appropriately. Do not park cars near trees.
