Based on the case materials, M. Alzbergas, together with A. Pimpis, with the intent to fraudulently acquire high-value foreign property, acted according to a prior agreement with a person against whom a pre-trial investigation was separated, as part of an accomplice group.
Acting on behalf of three Lithuanian companies, they gained the trust of representatives of the Poland-registered company “B.G.” through public online communication means and in 2018 agreed on an order – 27 pallets of cargo with cherry and blackcurrant puree in barrels, with a total value of 14,079 euros, to be transported from the sender – the Poland-registered company “B.G.” to the recipient – the Russia-registered RAB “F.”.
