He signed a one-year contract with the “Cavs” worth 2.8 million USD. However, according to journalist Michael Scotto, M. Hezonja will receive the full amount only if he remains on the team until November 15 and is not released before then.
The 31-year-old forward has previously played in the NBA, wearing the uniforms of the “Orlando Magic,” “New York Knicks,” and “Portland Trail Blazers.”
However, in recent years he has adapted well in the EuroLeague and became the tournament winner with the “Real” club in 2023. Last season, M. Hezonja was named the most valuable player of the Spanish ACB league.
