The Ministry of Energy has initiated that the “Energy Distribution Operator” (ESO) carry out these works faster in the forested areas of Lazdijai, Tauragė, and Jurbarkas districts, the ministry announced on Wednesday.

Design work will begin in the third quarter of this year, contractor competitions are planned to be announced in the first quarter of next year, and the work is to be completed by the end of 2027.
