“This purchase marks another important step in implementing the Harmony Link project. Autotransformers are critically important infrastructure, on which the reliable operation of the electricity system and efficient management of electricity flows at different voltages depend. Since the production of such devices takes a long time and requires specific technological solutions, it is important to plan their supply in advance and thus ensure the smooth progress of the project,” said Litgrid CEO Andrius Šemeškevičius in a statement.
