„eBay“ organizes the first Baltic export forum in Vilnius

The forum is organized at a particularly relevant time when more and more Baltic companies are looking for new growth opportunities beyond their domestic markets. More than 15,000 regional companies already reach buyers worldwide through the “eBay” e-commerce platform, demonstrating the growing strength and potential of Baltic businesses in international e-commerce.

From export ambitions to concrete actions

The “eBay Baltic Export Summit” will provide entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ready to export with practical knowledge, direct contact with experienced sellers, and connections to a broader ecosystem needed to grow internationally. The forum will connect Baltic companies with successful exporters, e-commerce experts, logistics and technology service providers, business associations, and government representatives.

At the event, international experts and government representatives will deliver presentations on business growth in foreign markets and the future of e-commerce; practical workshops on building and expanding international business will take place; mastery lessons in various product categories: auto parts, fashion and recommerce, collectibles; established “eBay” Baltic sellers will share their experiences; discussions with logistics, technology, and e-commerce partners will be held;

The forum will present the “Baltic Top Seller Awards” to the best exporters in the region.

Growing Baltic export ecosystem

Earlier this year, “eBay” held “Go Global” export seminars in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Additionally, “eBay” continued to expand its activities in the Baltic countries: establishing partnerships with the Lithuanian and Latvian postal services, collaborating with business associations, participating in automotive industry events, and directly engaging with experienced Baltic sellers.

The forum unites these efforts regionally and creates conditions where companies can gain market insights, meet experienced exporters, logistics solution and technology partners, and find practical export support.

Looking beyond their markets

Baltic companies already have products the world wants. The goal of the “eBay Baltic Export Forum” is to help understand how to reach buyers and turn export ambitions into concrete actions. In Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, entrepreneurial ambitions, strong digital capabilities, and export-ready products come together. At the same time, relatively small domestic markets mean that many companies seeking to realize their full growth potential must look beyond their borders. E-commerce can provide the opportunity to do so,” said Vidmay Naini, “eBay” Head of Emerging Markets.

Through the “eBay” e-commerce platform, companies can reach 136 million active buyers in 190 markets.

The region has something to offer

In 2025, the “eBay” platform, which hosts about 2.5 billion active product listings at any time, generated a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of 79.6 billion USD.

International opportunities are especially relevant for Baltic companies in categories where the region already has a strong supply, specialized knowledge, and business experience: auto parts, fashion and apparel, collectibles, and refurbished technology.

Participants of the “eBay Baltic Export Summit 2026” will learn what buyers worldwide are looking for, how successful sellers expanded beyond their home countries, and how listing, logistics, payment, marketing, and customer service tools can help grow internationally.

Bringing exporters, e-commerce experts, and ecosystem partners together in one place will help businesses quickly get answers to practical export questions and take the first steps toward international trade.
