“Electricity import from Scandinavia through the NordBalt connection is one of the main factors reducing electricity prices for Lithuanian consumers. Moreover, recently there have been increasing periods when we export electricity produced in Lithuania through this connection,” said Andrius Šemeškevičius, head of Litgrid, in a statement.
