The municipality rented these premises specifically so that students of schools undergoing renovation could temporarily take shelter here – while repairs are being carried out in their permanent premises.
However, the old and new school premises are separated by more than 7 kilometers, so students will have to cover this additional distance starting in September. Since the area served by the mentioned school is Justiniškės and part of Pilaitė, the main flow of primary school students aged just 6-11 years will move to classes from here.
