A reader named Loreta (real name known to the editorial office) contacted 15min, who flew on Monday evening from Corfu to Vilnius on a charter flight by the travel organizer “Tez Tour” operated by “GetJet Airlines.” The woman was supposed to land in Vilnius on Monday after 21:35, but due to a technical aircraft malfunction, she was forced to wait for many hours at the airport along with other passengers.

“All passengers were boarded onto the plane, although people already heard rumors while boarding that we most likely would not take off. We sat down, put away our belongings, then it was announced that there was a malfunction. The flight attendants simply said that fuel was filled and some light turned on,” Loreta recounted.

Passengers spent more than an hour on the plane: “They kept us on the plane without air conditioning, in stifling heat, among passengers including families with small children.
