“Certain judges are petrified out of fear of these crazy and corrupt Democrats and completely unable to show the courage needed to save our America,” he wrote on his social network “Truth Social,” calling the decision “terrible and very political.”

In March, ahead of the midterm elections in November, D. Trump signed an executive order aimed at restricting mail-in voting. He claimed without evidence that this method is vulnerable to fraud. This move quickly sparked a series of legal disputes.
Democrat-led states sued the administration in court, arguing that under the U.S. Constitution, states, not the federal government, retain broad control over election organization.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh said Monday evening that D. Trump’s plan might ultimately be legal in the long term, but “state and local election officials do not have enough time to reasonably implement this rule before the elections.”
Only two of the six conservative judges in the nine-member panel expressed a dissenting opinion.
D. Trump unjustifiably claimed that the U.S. mail-in voting system, which is secure and does not have major problems with fraud, is “a laughingstock worldwide,” and lamented that the U.S. is “the only country that has to endure such a nation-destroying CONSPIRACY.”

More than 30 countries worldwide provide citizens the opportunity to vote by mail.
“This is a big loss for Republicans and for America itself, so the radical left ‘Democrats’ fraud with mail-in ballots becomes much easier – and now they have a free path for it! The Supreme Court has truly let our country down!” complained D. Trump.
The president has repeatedly condemned mail-in voting as corrupt, although he himself has used it, including voting in the Florida Republican primaries last month.
This battle, along with disputes over partisan redistricting in about ten states, is taking place ahead of the November 3 elections, where the stakes are very high.
Republicans hold a slim majority in Congress, but Democrats are considered favorites to take control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate, as D. Trump’s popularity ratings remain low and voters express dissatisfaction over the cost of living and the ongoing war with Iran.
