Defender leaving “Kauno Žalgiris” moves to Portugal

E. Jurjonas, who celebrated his 22nd birthday in the spring, constantly played in all Lithuanian youth national teams, and last year became the Lithuanian champion with “Kauno Žalgiris”.

However, in the last match of the season, the footballer suffered a serious injury, after which he returned to the field only in mid-2026, but never played in the TOPLYGA matches.

During his time in Kaunas, the defender wore the main team’s jersey 18 times, scoring one goal and making 2 assists.

Abroad, E. Jurjonas had to play earlier as well – initially he developed in the “Salernitana” academy in Italy, and later spent half a year in Greece, at the “Kalamata” club.
