According to the mayor, the public transport operating hours will be extended by one hour accordingly.

“The operating hours of public catering establishments, entertainment venues, and shopping and entertainment centers remain unchanged,” clarified V. Klitschko.

The Kyiv mayor reminded that the movement of large transit vehicles during the curfew has been allowed since September 3.

Many trains are delayed

“Also during the curfew – because many trains are delayed – the city is organizing four bus routes to transport people from the central railway station,” added V. Klitschko.

On August 29, Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky stated that in a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, he reported on adapting the state’s work to the new Russian attack tactics – among other things, plans to review the curfew schedule were discussed.

On August 31, Kyiv authorities appealed to the government with a proposal to ease the curfew in the capital. On the same day, on the air of “Radio NV,” Anatoliy Amelin, co-founder of the Ukrainian Future Institute, explained why the current curfew format is losing relevance as Russia strikes with drones almost every night.
